The environmental graphics program for this historic civic setting drew directly from the building’s architectural language. A striped terrazzo pattern became the inspiration for a distinctive signage expression, translated into bronze through alternating directions of the brushed finish. The resulting pattern established a material language that extended from primary building identification through the interior signage system.
Careful attention was also given to how the signs integrated with the architecture, wrapping building corners and closely following its form. Classic typography and materials carried through to the interior lobby, resulting in a timeless signage program shaped by the building’s architectural expression.
